Deciding the winner for the Cybex Fitness story contest was a difficult task. We had entries that told about how CYBEX products changed lives from all over the globe.
The grand prize winner is ELLIE SNYDER – she is a working Mom from Fairmont, West Virginia who uses the Arc Trainer at her workplace fitness center. Read her story.
“As a mother of 2 young children (2 yr & 6 yr) and a sufferer of Multiple Sclerosis, I face many challenges when it comes to exercising. With the Total Body Arc Trainer, I am able to get the best bang for my buck (so to speak). On days when fatigue is taking a toll, I can keep my routine quite moderate. Using low resistance and no upper body bars, it's like a slow stroll in the park. On days when I feel great, I can really crank it up. With maximum resistance and incline, I often compare the workout to rock climbing Mt. Everest! It's versatile enough to accommodate any and every workout need. I have found no other piece of equipment to do that.”
Ellie has won a Home Arc Trainer for herself and a 630A commercial Arc Trainer which she is planning to donate to Fairmont Fitness in Fairmont, West Virginia.
The runner-up prize of a Home Arc Trainer was awarded to Angela Willis of Watkinsville, Georgia. Angela wrote:
“Two years ago, I began using the Cybex Arc Trainer at the gym. At first, I was amazed that I could only last for 30 minute sessions. I was accustomed to going for an hour on the elliptical machine. Within a month, I could tell a huge difference in my endurance. My muscles were more toned, especially my glutes, and I had an overall sense of feeling better. I've lost body fat and I think it even got rid of my cellulite! I am 40 years old and feel and look better than I did at 20.”
Thanks to all who entered the CYBEX Fitness Story contest.
